  1. I cannot recall a sermon that emphasized this scripture in James about confessing our sin to one another that was spoken with such love and compassion as this one, Crispin. So thank you so much for your heart-felt delivery.

Indeed, the quality of our relationships is of far greater importance than in the quantity. Excellent point that we shouldn’t necessarily just spout off our sins to anyone, but rather to a trusted brother or sister in Christ that has a measure of love and God centered wisdom.

I know I repeat myself, and I don’t plan to change, but I must again thank you for sharing with us your deep, personal struggles. That is so uncommon to hear from the pulpit, yet it is so refreshing and authentic and lets us all know that you’re speaking from experience and not just something you read. It endears us to you and your message all the more. The truth is, we’re indeed all a mess, and we all need the love of God, and a godly confidant with whom we can share the contents of our heart.

Thank you, Bro, and thank you for a beautiful closing prayer. It was filled with love and hope, and we can’t get enough of that either, can we not?

    Peace.
